Frassati Summer Soccer! 8/3/19

Come join us for a casual game of mixed soccer on the East River. Frassati has reserved a permit to play on a NYC Parks field for two hours. We will fellowship and pray the Rosary together before the game. Then we will play some casual games until the last man (or woman) is standing. Light refreshments and possible fellowship after the game.

Date/Time: Saturday, August 3, 4-6pm

Please arrive by 4pm for fellowship and a pre-game Rosary prayer.

Location: East River Park Field #1 : see google maps here. The location is a little out of the way. The easiest way to get there is by taking the F train to East Broadway. Then there is a 15 minute "Urban Hike" to the field. This includes walking over the FDR drive overpass near Corlears Hook Park. We will meet at 4pm on the field by the stands for fellowship and to pray the rosary.

Who: Open to young adults 20 to 40.

What to bring: Some light snacks will be provided. There are local water fountains but we recommend you bring your own water in addition, especially if you know you will need a lot or some extra electrolytes. Otherwise, dress for the heat, wear appropriate shoes (cleats are not required), and don't forget your Rosary!

Bathroom: There is a local public bathroom located between the soccer fields.

Registration/Refunds: If you're interested in this event please sign up early. This helps build the event's momentum and turnout. Any cancellations due to weather or other will be refunded.
